Permanent exhibition

Gallery of Humankind - Our body

During your life, many changes occur in your body

This zone explores, without taboos, all the stages of life, from embryo to adult: the fertilization of the egg by a sperm cell, the passing on of parental genes, pregnancy, birth, and the first weeks of life, the rapid growth of the child, the changes during adolescence (including the development of the adolescent's brain and future reproductive functions), and old age.

You can view a collection of fetuses that have been preserved in formaldehyde for over 100 years, skeletons of children and adults, and plastinated organs that, along with life-size model projections, illustrate pregnancy, the body in motion, and the nervous and digestive systems.
