Function

Bernard Mottequin is a geologist and palaeontologist at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences. He is particularly interested in Devonian and Carboniferous brachiopods from Western Europe and North Africa, with a focus on taxonomy and paleoecology. Additionally, He is currently engaged in the revision of the invertebrate faunas (e.g. brachiopods, trilobites) found in the Belgian Ordovician inliers, as well as the update of the lithostratigraphy of the Devonian–Carboniferous succession of southern Belgium.
